The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in the Council for Regional Development of Transcarpathian region

The prospective plan for the development of Transcarpathia for the next three years includes real projects that are already being implemented, – Moskal.

The completion of serious tasks is possible under several conditions – consolidation of society, cooperation of local elites and support of central authorities, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal emphasized during the expanded meeting of the Regional Development Council with the participation of the President of Ukraine.
– In Transcarpathia, we have all that – mutual understanding and mutual support in society, – Hennadiy Moskal said. – Although the Russian special services did everyhting they could to incite inter-ethnic conflict in Transcarpathia, they failed and they will always fail! We have full cooperation between the regional state administration and the regional council. We have the support of the government (but I will say frankly – in some areas we would like to have more). And, most importantly, we have full support of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. And I assure that in Transcarpathia we will do everything to make this cooperation and mutual support remain for another 5 years!
Transcarpathia is a special region. It is the westernmost part of Ukraine, the most distant from the capital, the region bordering the four countries of the European Union. It has the largest forested area, the largest share of the rural population, in addition, Transcarpathia is in the natural disaster risk zone. And these features are taken into account when forming the prospective plan for the development of the region that will be presented to the Head of the State and the Transcarpathians today and which is a kind of a roadmap for the development of the region for the coming years.
