The fest "History:UA" will come to Transcarpathia. It is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Carpathian Ukraine, which will be celebrated this year, the Ukrinform reported. According to the director of the Institute of National Memory Volodymyr Vyatrovich, the festival "History:UA" will be held on March 22-23 in Transcarpathia. The program includes concerts, meetings, exhibitions and historic discussions, – he said.
According to Vyatrovich, the short but bright history of the Carpathian Ukraine has become one of those pages of our history, which every Ukrainian is proud of.
"It demonstrated the desire of Ukrainians in Transcarpathia to be a part of united Ukrainian people. For that desire, they were ready to pay the highest price, so they rose to an armed struggle for freedom," – Vyatrovich said.
