At the checkpoint "Solotvyno", employees of the Transcarpathian Customs found out that a citizen of Ukraine had forged documents with a fake stamp in a passport about permanent consular registration in the EU country on the basis of which he tried to move a car across the customs border of Ukraine.
In addition, during a full customs inspection of the Ukrainian’s car "Lexus", they found in structural cavities of the vehicle hidden tobacco products, namely 318 packs of cigarettes "Compliment" and "NZ Gold" without excise stamps of Ukraine.
Thus, two reports were drawn up against the citizen, because he committed actions to move across the customs border of Ukraine tobacco products concealed from customs control and submitted to customs control forged documents. His actions have signs of violation of customs rules under Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
At present, under those reports, the cigarettes, the value of which is being established, and the vehicle worth more than UAH 107 thousand have been seized.
