As of February 23, the excise tax for the customs clearance of vehicles will be charged in full, – Transcarpathian Customs

Clearance of vehicles with foreign registration continues at the Transcarpathian Customs. Since November 25, 2018, after the introduction of changes in the tax and customs legislation, as of February 18, 2019, 13,202 vehicles have been cleared at the Transcarpathian Customs. This brought to the state budget over UAH 820.2 million in revenues. The average customs value of such cars is 3,600 U.S. dollars

We remind you that the validity period of the transitional provisions of the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the taxation of motor vehicles at 0.5 coefficient expires at 24:00 on February 22, 2019.

Thus, as of February 23, 2019, the excise tax for the customs clearance of vehicles will be charged in full.
