The incidence of ARVI in Transcarpathia is declining

The quarantine helped to reduce the incidence rate among children, but the number of adult patients is increasing.

The incidence rate is 632 per 100 thousand people and exceeds the epidemic threshold by 16% (the previous week, the epidemiological threshold was exceeded by 21%). 

Quarantines contributed to reducing the ARVI incidence rate among children of all ages on average by 12%. But the number of adult patients, on the contrary, has increased by 12% mainly in the age group of 30 – 64 years old.

In general, among those who applied for medical care, 4,675 are children under 17 years old (58% of all patients) and 3,286 are adults (42%).

Epidemic thresholds are exceeded in Volovets district 3 times, in Tyachiv district and the city of Uzhgorod – by 54%, in Mizhhirya district – by 50%, in Irshava district – by 42%, in Uzhgorod district – by 34%, in Velyky Berezny and Vynogradiv districts – by 25%

Next Monday (February 11), schools will open in Tyachiv, Irshava, V.Berezny, Mizhhirya districts and the city of Khust, and partially in Volovets district.

The quarantine was extended for another week in schools of Uzhgorod city, as well as Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Vynogradiv, Beregovo and Rakhiv districts.
