The premises of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod once again became an exhibition space for art works. This time for the Uzhgorod Children’s Arts School. On January 28, an exhibition of 29 pictures of the school pupils was officially opened in the diplomatic institution.
The honorary mission was performed by the Hungarian Consul General in Uzhgorod Yozsef Buhajla and the director of the said institution Natalia Gromova. The latter, in particular, noted that there are 900 pupils in the school of arts, 200 of them study fine arts.
12-year-old Anastasia Kushtan presented a graphic work depicting Uzhgorod. The girl says she is studying at the school to become a fashion designer or architect in the future. Other children presented drawings of Horyany rotunda, streets of the city, people, holidays.
Famous Transcarpathian artist, teacher of the school Vasyl Vovchok noted that there are different artists in the school: "As a result, our pupils always create something interesting, because they learn a bit from one teacher, a bit from another. And this is not amateurism, but quite a good level. You can see it for yourself".
