Newspaper “Nedilya” celebrated its first 15th anniversary (PHOTOS)

Yesterday, in Uzhgorod, the 15th anniversary of the newspaper "Nedilya" was celebrated in a cozy, almost family-friendly atmosphere.

The celebrations took place in the Transcarpathian Regional Puppet Theater "Bavka". Many holiday guests – officials, intellectuals of the region, journalists – recognized themselves in the photos that were presented in a slide show.

The celebrations began with the performance of the Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir under the direction of Natalia Petiy-Potapchuk. 

The chairman of the "Nedilya" editorial board Mykhailo Nosa shared his memories about the establishment of the publication, thanked everyone who has worked there for fifteen years. He also told about the creative initiatives of the editorial staff – magazines, rating projects, and thanked Uzhgorod City Council for the assistance in conducting the first annual international theater festival "Monologues on the Uzh" in 2018.

Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv also congratulated the editorial staff of the newspaper "Nedilya" and presented a gift from Uzhgorod City Council.

Dancers of the "Blitz" Modern Dance Studio, students of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts, Journalism Department of UzhNU, actors of the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater, others also performed at the celebration.
