Irshava rescuers extinguished the fire and delivered the victims to the doctors

On January 21, at 6:28, Irshava rescuers were notified of a fire in a residential building on Kotsyubinsky street in the village of  Ilnytsya.  3 vehicles and 10 rescuers of the 5th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Irshava arrived the scene.  Upon the arrival of the firefighters, the area of the fire was 140 sq.m.  In addition, the 78-year-old owner of the dwelling, while trying to extinguish the fire on his own, suffered the II degree burns of the face and hands.  The victim’s wife also needed immediate hospitalization.  But the ambulance could not get to the scene due to a bad road.  Therefore, the rescuers, wasting no time, drove the elderly people to the central village road, where paramedics were already waiting for them.  The fire destroyed the roof of the residential building over the entire area and the property there.  The cause of the fire and damage are being established, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region informs.
