On Teatralna Square in Uzhgorod, National Guardsmen gave passers-by a hundred paper boats. Soldiers of the local unit 3302 made them by themselves. On one side they drew a yellow and blue flag, on the other side they wrote the names and positions of the seamen held captive in Russia.
70 soldiers lined up near the central city Christmas tree, and at noon they started the flashmob. The campaign was simultaneously launched in several regional centers of the country. The young men were handing out symbolic boats and telling passers-by about the goal of this event. To support the imprisoned Ukrainian seamen and their families and remind the Ukrainians that not everyone is lucky enough to celebrate Christmas in a family circle.
