Who will complete the reconstruction of the sanatorium “Malyatko”?

In order to complete the reconstruction of the unfinished building No. 1 and to ensure efficient rehabilitation of children, the property of the sanatorium "Malyatko" was assigned to the Utility Company of the Transcarpathian Regional Council. This was announced by the press-service of the company.

Thus, during the 13th session of the Regional Council, the deputies adopted the decision "On the transfer of the incomplete construction object – "Building No. 1 of the Regional Specialized Children’s Pulmonary Sanatorium "Malyatko". 

As you know, "Malyatko" provides examination, treatment and rehabilitation of children aged 1.5 to 6 years old with nonspecific broncho-pulmonary pathology. In addition, the sanatorium provides rehabilitation for schoolchildren in the summer, and since 2009 has been providing year-round rehabilitation for children of junior high school age without interrupting education process (classes are conducted at the sanatorium). The Transcarpathian health resort can accommodate up to 80 children.

         Therefore, in order to create conditions for efficient rehabilitation of children, introduction of the newest methods of rehabilitation treatment, development of a modern rehabilitation health complex on the basis of the regional specialized children’s pulmonary sanatorium "Malyatko", the Regional Council decided that the incomplete construction object – "Building No. 1 of the Regional Specialized Children’s Pulmonary Sanatorium "Malyatko", the village of Onokivtsi, Uzhgorod district – reconstruction" shall be in the joint ownership of territorial communities of villages, towns, cities of the region (communal property of the region) represented by the Transcarpathian Regional Council, acting through the body authorized to manage the property – the utility company "Territorial community joint property management" of the Transcarpathian Regional Council.
