The beginning of 2019 for the doctors of the city maternity hospital was quite extreme

On New Year’s night, no babies from Uzhgorod were born before 8 o’clock in the morning. But in general the beginning of 2019 for the doctors of the city maternity hospital was rather extreme.

The first newborn – a girl weighing 2 kg 250 g – was delivered at 1.20. The mother is from Uzhgorod district, was not registered as pregnant, had not been examined by doctors, it was her first child.

Ten minutes later, at 1.30, a boy weighing 2,750, also from Uzhgorod district, from Dobron, was born.

At 4.01 and 4.03, two girls were born – twins. The mother is from Tyachiv, the delivery was on the 35th week of pregnancy using the cesarean section. The babies weigh 2 and 2.1 kg.

Another girl was born at 7.12, very tiny – weighing 950 grams, on the 29th week of pregnancy. The mother is a resident of Verkhnye Vodyane in Rakhiv district.
