According to the UkSATSE, today, December 17, 2018, at the headquarters of the European Agency for the Safety of Airlines (EASA) in the city of Cologne (Germany), the EASA Flight Standards Director Jesper Rasmussen in the presence of the EASA Executive Director Patrick Kei handed Dmytro Babeychuk the certificate of compliance of the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise as the national provider of air navigation services to the European Union standards.
"I congratulate the UkSATSE team, which has successfully demonstrated the conformity of management systems, procedures and technical facilities to European requirements. Today it is safe to say that our certificate just confirmed the reliability, efficiency and responsibility of the Ukrainian partner," – Jesper Rasmussen, the EASA Flight Standards Director said.
The EASA Certificate certifies that UkSATSE complies with EU norms and is the basis for obtaining from the Slovak party the rights to provide air traffic services in the part of the Slovak airspace, which is necessary for maneuvering of aircrafts at the "Uzhgorod" airfield. Restoration of the full-fledged operation of the "Uzhgorod" airport is a priority for the senior management of the state, for the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as for the director of the UkSATSE Dmytro Babeychuk, who, as the process curator, did the most to obtain the desired result.
