In Transcarpathia, the last day of autumn was marked not only by abundant snowfalls and snowstorms, but also broke the record registered in Rakhiv district 93 years ago – in 1925. This was announced on Friday, November 30, in the press service of the Rakhiv city council.
According to the hydrological station of the Tisa river basin water resources administration, near the village of Yasinya in Rakhiv district, the temperature, as of 6 am, dropped to a record low of 21.3 degrees, and in the village of Kvasy, the temperature was -22 degrees.
According to long-term observations of weather forecasters, the previous cold record was -21 degrees – which was recorded on November 30, 1925.
In Rakhiv, the temperature ranged from -12 to -17 degrees.
At the top of Mount Pip Ivan Chornohirsky, today in the early morning, the thermometer showed -17 degrees, east wind of 17 m / s, it was clear – the rescuer of the local point reported.
According the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology, on November 30, on the territory of the region, the temperature at night was -8 to -13 degrees, during the day the temperature was -3 to +2 degrees, in the mountains at night, the temperature is expected to be -18 to -15 degrees, during the day -10 to -7 degrees
