Today, in the highlands of Transcarpathia, the temperature dropped to 22 degrees below zero, and the next week, there will be warmer weather and rains in the region, the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.
On the night of Friday (30.11), in the highlands of Transcarpathia, the temperature dropped to 22 degrees below zero. This temperature was recorded in Rakhiv district near the village of Kvasy. In Uzhgorod, in the morning of Friday, ten degrees below zero was recorded. The cold temperatures will remain in the region for another day – tomorrow morning, in Uzhgorod, 11 degrees below zero is expected. The historical minimum in the regional center during the same period was recorded on December 1, 1973 – minus 12 degrees.
On Sunday (2.12), the weather in the region will be warmer, and on Monday, rain, sleet is expected in most of Transcarpathia, and in the highlands – snow. The average temperature in most of the region during the next week is expected to be +2 to +4 degrees. The expected precipitation does not pose a risk of flood.
