Due to blocking of the borders, the state budget lost on average about 45 million hryvnias per day

Due to blocking of crossing points in Volyn, Transcarpathian and Lviv customs by owners of cars with foreign registration, the budget lost on average about UAH 45 millions per day, the site of the SFS informs.

The largest losses were recorded at the Lviv customs – 30 million hryvnias. While, for example, the average daily transfers from these three customs amount to UAH 189 million, during the blockade, the figure was UAH 145 million.

Owners of cars with foreign registration blocked about 10 checkpoints on the state border, which led to the congestions.  As of November 28, the work of all checkpoints on the western border is normal.

Recall that the owners of cars with EU license plates protested because of the new legislation on the legalization of motor vehicles with European registration imported with violation of the customs and tax laws.
