Istvan Pal is the winner of one of the most prestigious musical awards in Hungary – the Ferenc Liszt Prize.

This was the second time "Szalonna" was invited to the Buckingham Palace – the first time, it was on the 60th anniversary of Prince Charles, 10 years ago. It turns out that the royal family is very fond of folk music.

"Playing on the birthday of Prince Charles was a great honor for us. Thanks for the great experience and great reception at the London Ritz Restaurant. Nevertheless, the best feeling was that there was a place for Hungarian folk music and folk dance there," – Transcarpathian Istvan Pal said.

The program of the musical evening included Hutsul kolomyikas, Hungarian and Romanian folk melodies.
