Transcarpathians are invited to tskr part in the charity campaign “I am not sn offender – I am a donor!”

Every year, from November 25 to December 10, the campaign "Lilac ribbon" is held in Ukraine in the framework of the International campaign "16 Days Against Violence".

This year, all the events have the common slogan "Let’s End Violence Together!". Another feature of this year’s campaign was the joint charity event "I am not an offender – I am a donor!" organized by the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. Domestic violence in Ukraine is the cause of 100 thousand days of hospitalization, 30 thousand appeals to the traumatology departments, 40 thousand calls for medical help…

At the same time, in the medical institutions, there is a problem of the shoratge of donor blood. It has been proven that each donor saves up to three lives with only one donation! Being a hero for another person in trouble is very easy.

You just have to share a drop of your own blood. In addition, blood collection stimulates the human body to trigger recovery processes and blood replenishment, and therefore the benefits are reciprocal! Therefore, we invite all residents of the region, public and volunteer organizations on November 27-29 to take part the campaign "I am not an offender – I am a donor!", by visiting the regional blood transfusion station (the city of Uzhgorod, Leo Tolstoy st., 15) to donate blood. Do not be indifferent!
