The wording of the post of the Hungarian government’s “Commissioner for Transcarpathia” will be changed – Klimkin

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, after the negotiations with the Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, announced the establishment of a post on issues of cross-border cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Interfax-Ukraine informed.  According to Klimkin, the wording of the post of the Hungarian government’s "Commissioner for Transcarpathia" will be changed next week, after which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will introduce a similar post. "The decision will be adopted next week, it will be published in the relevant Hungarian sources. We agreed that after the change and publication of the title, we will establish a post that will cover cross-border cooperation in our ministry", – the Interfax-Ukraine quotes Klimkin.   In addition, Klimkin announced in the near future bilateral intergovernmental consultations with Hungary and stressed that Ukraine would not allow to violate the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, as well as Ukrainian legislation on its territory.
