Uzhgorod residents have been following the touching story of the swan family on the Uzhgorod "Kirpichka" since spring. After the transfer of the park territory to the community, it seemed that a lot of problems should have been solved. However, life makes its adjustments and not always pleasant. A few days ago social networks were full of stories about the life of the swan family, and today the feed is filled with sad messages: one of the cygnets has died…

"Today, at around 9:00, according to eyewitnesses, the most friendly cygnet died during a training flight after hitting the internal wire fence of the courts and sports fields of the "Yunist" sports complex… Apparently, the death was quick and the swan did not suffer…

It’s too late now, but I think that if the fence had been marked with bright ribbons or flags, the tragedy could have been avoided…", – Vasyl Sidey wrote.

At present, active Uzhgorod residents want to mark the fence with bright ribbons themselves and ask the director of the sports complex "Yunist" for support.
