Transcarpathian weather forecasters predict weather changes in the region

On October 24-25, a significant change in weather conditions is expected in Transcarpathian region: at night and in the first half of the day on October 24, mostly in mountainous and eastern districts, heavy precipitation in the form of rain, in the mountains – wet snow, on the highlands – snow are expected, the site of the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Hydrometeorology informs. Strengthening of northwest wind up to 15-20, sometimes in the mountains – gusts of up to 22, in the highlands – up to 25-30 m / s. In the mountains, slush build-up, blizzards, fogs, ice cover on the mountain sections of the roads. In the period from October 24-25, temperature drop in the mountains is expected: at night 0 to -5°, in the daytime -3° to +2°, in the lowland areas of the region 0 to +5° at night, +5° to +10° during the day.
