Transcarpathian officials, holders of Hungarian passports from the "Myrotvorets" list, are resigning. Among them, there are directors of schools in Beregovo district and officials of the Beregovo District State Administration, the Ukrinform wrote.
This was reported by local media citing their own sources.
"According to the publication Mukachevo.net, the director of the Variyevo secondary school Oleksandr Marku (Beregovo district, the village of Vary / Variyevo) has lodged a statement of resignation due to having Hungarian citizenship. Oleksandr Marku is also a deputy to the district council of the seventh convocation. He’s not yet considering to leave the elected office," – the report reads.
It is also noted that the chief specialist of the Division of Cash Disbursements and Reimbursements of the Social Welfare Department of the Beregovo District State Administration Zhanna Tsuri and the chief specialist of the Department for Economic Development and Trade of the Beregovo District State Administration Elvira Rusyn also have lodged statements for resignation.
According to preliminary information, the director of Hecha secondary school Beilo Jakob (the village of Hecha, Beregovo district), who also is a deputy, is considering resignation too.
All of them recently appeared in the list of the "Myrotvorets" as persons who allegedly have dual citizenship – Ukrainian and Hungarian.
