The winner of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine Award, which is considered the Ukrainian Oscars for teachers, will be announced on October 7.
The names of the finalists have been announced. One of them is Lyudmila Bodnaryuk from Transcarpathian city of Vynogradiv in the category Art, Music Art, Art Culture.
It is symbolic that the Transcarpathian graduate Valentin Frechka is a member of the jury. Here’s how Valentin himself describes his impressions of working in the jury:
"These are people, who have incredible stories, they are superheros. They are sincere, bright, funny, slightly exhausted, but they are so open. Choosing the winner is the hardest, because each of them deserves distinction for their work, but the reality is not always pleasant for everyone."
