Mukachevo border guards stoppped smugglers with shots (PHOTOS)

Last night, border guards of the "Vylok" department of the Mukachevo detachment prevented an attempt to smuggle tobacco products across the border.

The border guards noticed unknown persons, who were carrying packages toward the Tisa river, during patroling. The border guards immediately tried to detain the offenders and made warning shots, but the smugglers, taking advantage of the considerable distance from the patrol, ran away.

Near the border, the smugglers left eight boxes with four thousand cigarette packs.

The found tobacco products were taken to the "Vylok" border guard department and will be handed over the SFS. Measures to identify the persons involved in this offense are being taken.
