Kamyanytsia village celebrated its birthday on the territory of the landscape reserve "Ostra". The celebration began with the ecological quest. It is here that the "Happy Children" NGO is implementing one of its projects. The main message of the project is to unite the village community around the conservation of the protected object, the press service of the NGO "Happy Children" informs.
During the quest, the participants were overcoming obstacles, solving the crossword puzzles and riddles about Ostra, making waste baskets, collecting wild roses, exploring the flora and fauna of the tract, making amulets, visited the "Field Restaurant" and painted the view that opens from the tract. And also, they met a real forest wizard.
Recall that the project "Ecoinitiative "Ostra" – vector of preservation of the nature reserve fund of Transcarpathia" is being implemented within the framework of the "Program of environmental public initiatives for the East and West of Ukraine" put in place by the Fund for the Development of NGOs "Western Ukrainian Resource Center" in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine with support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
