On September 13, the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic sincerely invites all music lovers to the opening of the X International Youth Festival of Organ Music. It will be opened by guests from Hungary – Erzsibet Shelelyo (saxophone) and Ondras Gabor Virag (organ).
Erzsibet was born in Uzhgorod, but moved with her family to Hungary when she was a child. She started as a pianist, and took saxophone when she was 13 years. She graduated from the Royal College of Music in London and the Privatuniversität Conservatory in Vienna.
Her partner on the stage will be Ondras Gabor Virag – the main organist of the St. Istvan Basilica in Budapest, composer, teacher of F.Liszt Music Academy, laureate of national and international competitions. The musicians will play the music of A.Vivaldi, F.Liszt, F.Cesar, G.F. Handel. Ondras Gabor Virag will also perform his own works. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR. The beginning is at 18.30.
