The titles of the Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod have been awarded

The City Council session continues in the regional center of Transcarpathia.

Among other issues, the deputies considered the awarding of the title of the "Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod", and now the results are known.

The title "Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod" was awarded to the doctor of medical sciences, professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases of the Uzhgorod National University Vasyl Rusyn, surgeon of the surgical department 1 of the Central City Clinical Hospital of the city of Uzhgorod Desiderii Petnehazi and People’s Artist of Ukraine Petro Matiy.

Posthumously, the title of "Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod" was granted to killed soldiers: Captain Valeriy Tikhonovsky, ensign Andriy Sipavka, as well as public and political activist, volunteer Kateryna Omelchak.

Appropriate draft decisions were supported at today’s session of Uzhgorod City Council.
