Omelyan promises to launch “Uzhgorod” airport by the end of the year

The Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan said that the airport "Uzhgorod" would be definitely put into operation this year.

He said that on "Direct" channel.

– This year, on the order of the President, we must put the airport "Uzhgorod" into operation. We need to do it in order to ensure air service between Ukraine and Transcarpathia, which is cut off by the Carpathians, and this is a very dangerous trend, – Volodymyr Omelyan said.

In general, according to him, by 2020, there should be a minimum of 20 airports.
