Do not buy ice cream at street kiosks

Doctors do not advise Ukrainians to consume such a dessert.

Doctors warn that ice cream sold at street kiosks can be dangerous to your health. If it melted and then froze again, the sweet dessert is likely to turn into a cold poison. One of the biggest risks is the defrosting of street stalls. Often, sellers switch off the refrigerators overnight, and in the morning they re-freeze their goods. This is very dangerous and can cause intestinal infections – dietitians warn

"Repeated freezing for ice cream is prohibited. As soon as ice cream melts, it loses all its biological properties. You do not get any useful fats or nutrients. When defrosting, bacteria get into the product and begin to multiply," – experts say.

Experts recommend to buy ice cream in package and always check the product ingredients.

First of all, you need to look at the package. The DSTU sign means that the ice cream was manufactured according to the state standard. This is the guarantee of a really high quality product.
