On August 9, in the course of joint measures with representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, bomb experts of the Rescue Service removed and destroyed mortar shells: 4 pieces of 50 mm caliber, one piece of 82 mm caliber and F-1 grenades – 8 pieces of the Second World War period. They were inspecting the area near the village of Stuzhytsia, Velyky Berezny district.
The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region urges citizens to follow simple safety rules. If you find an explosive, immediately report about it by calling "101" or "102".
It is strictly forbidden to touch it, move it, pour liquid or dirt on it. Avoid any sound, light, thermal or mechanical impact on an explosive object, since practically all explosives are sensitive to such impacts.
