The highest in Ukraine prices for cereals are in Transcarpathia

Experts from the Association of Suppliers of Trade Networks calculated where the cereals package consisting of 1 kg of rice, buckwheat, semolina, barley and wheat is the most expensive and the cheapest. 

According to statistics, as of the beginning of July 2018, the cereal basket is the most expensive in Transcarpathian region – 90.7 UAH, and the cheapest in Odesa region – 73.8 UAH. The price difference is 17 UAH, the director general of the Ukrainian Association of Suppliers of Trade Networks said.

The list of the 5 most expensive regions is as follows: Transcarpathian region – 90.7 UAH, Kyiv – 89.6 UAH, Chernivtsi – 87.7 UAH, Ivano-Frankivsk – 87.5 UAH and Donetsk region – 87.2 UAH.

The five cheapest regions are as follows: Ternopil – 73.8 UAH, Chernihiv – 74.6 UAH, Dnipropetrovsk – 74.9 UAH, Sumy – 75.6 UAH and Zaporizhzhya region – 76 UAH.

And in the middle: the city of Kyiv – 86.8 UAH, Volyn region – 84 UAH, Odesa – 80.9 UAH, Kherson – 80 UAH, Luhansk – 79.9 UAH, Mykolayiv – 79.6 UAH, Poltava – 79.5 UAH, Cherkasy – 79.2 UAH, Khmelnytsky – 79.1 UAH, Zhytomyr – 78.4 UAH, Lviv – 78.4 UAH, Vinnytsia – 77.8 UAH, Rivne – 76.7 UAH, Kirovohrad – 76,5 UAH, Kharkiv region – 76.1 UAH.
