In hot weather, the risk of fire increases

In hot weather, the number of fires in the open areas, in the forests and on agricultural land multiplies. Most of them occur due to careless handling of fire. Violation of the rules of fire safety near the gas pipelines pose a particular danger. In order to prevent damage to and destruction of gas pipelines and structures installed on them, and to ensure the reliable and safe operation of gas supply systems, the "Zakarpatgaz" PJSC reminds consumers of natural gas about the basic rules of fire safety, which must be observed by landowners during the operation of their facilities: kindling fire on open territories and while cleaning private plots, burning of dry grass and waste are not acceptable. Most frequently, fires occur as a result of human negligence and inattention. In the hot summer period, special attention should be paid to compliance with fire safety, in particular along gas pipelines, the press service of PJSC "Zakarpatgaz" warns.
