Fitness plus clean environment is the philosophy of a new sport called plogging, which translates to "picking up garbage during a jog," which was invented by Eric Alhstrom, a resident of Sweden, in 2017, due to the global environmental pollution.
The first plogging in Uzhgorod will take place on June 2 at 9.00. The route will run through the territory of the Bozdosh Park, where the participants of the run will try to pick up household waste while jogging in order to attract attention to the situation with the pollution of the city park.
