Tomorrow, freight vehicle traffic at the checkpoint “Uzhgorod” will be suspended

On Saturday, May 26, the Ukraine-Slovakia Neighborliness Day will be held at the border crossing point Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke (cargo terminal) on the Ukrainian-Slovak border.

A meeting of the official delegations of the two countries will begin at 10.45 on the neutral territory of the checkpoint. The official opening of the event is at 11.00.

The program also includes a meeting of the official delegations of the two countries, the signing of cooperation agreements, and the performances of the artistic groups. During the holiday, representatives of the authorities, local self-government bodies, foreign missions, non-governmental organizations, business circles will meet in the informal atmosphere.

As already reported, in connection with the celebration of the Day of Neighboliness, at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke" on the Ukrainian-Slovak border, heavy vehicle traffic will be suspended from 00:00 to 20:00. Carriers, who plan to cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border, can take other checkpoints, which will be working as usual.
