From world-renowned jazz compositions to Ukrainian folk motifs, from passionate tango to Neapolitan songs – this is a diverse artistic palette of the ensemble "Elisavet-retro", which will visit Uzhgorod for the first time. The collective was formed in 1992 at the Kirovohrad Regional Philharmonic as an ensemble of folk and modern music. It consists of talented and experienced musicians under the guidance of the Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, the brilliant composer and arranger Mykola Kvasha. The works of this artist still make up the bulk of the repertoire, and one of them was even included in the album "The Top 100 Works of Ukrainian Composers of the 20th Century" released in Canada in 2005.
The music created by these masters is marked by a special charm, elegance and filigree. Everything is well thought out and refined to perfection. The concert will be held on May 11 on the stage of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. The concert starts at 18.30.
