International hip-hop festival “Ghetto Groove” will be held in Uzhgorod (Announcement)

The international festival "Ghetto Groove" has already proven itself as a powerful youth event bringing together the best representatives of the hip-hop community from Ukraine and neighboring countries, and annually invites residents and guests of Uzhgorod to enjoy the best hip-hop shows.

Today, it is the only street dance festival in Western Ukraine and one of the most ambitious projects promoting hip-hop culture in Ukraine. The best dance teams, professional MCs and DJs, high-quality sound and light, multilevel stage and experienced organizers (the Studio of Modern Dance "Blitz"!) – all those components have brought "Ghetto Groove" to the top seven hip hop festivals of Ukraine.

This year, "Ghetto Groove" will be held on May 4-5 in the "Yunist" sports complex (M.Zankovetska st., 5). For the first time foreign judges will come to the festival – Nobru (Brazil), Peter Valentine (Italy) and the best representatives of the Ukrainian hip-hop community – Oleksandr Skyba, Maxim Orobets and Maria Kozlova.

The evening show "Ghetto Groove – 2018" on May 5, at 7:00 pm, in the "Yunist" SC will feature not only dances of the winners. The studio of modern dance "Blitz", the first in Ukraine teen boy-band "D-Side Band" (Kyiv), the 2015 champion of Ukraine in beatbox and the finalist of "The Voice" show 2018, Artem KANIFO Shcherbina (Kryvyi Rih), MC Dron will also perform.

The festival is supported by the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and Uzhgorod City Council.
