Take off the rose-tinted glasses. Uzhgorod residents are invited to talk about… pain-killers

The information campaign "Take off the rose-tinted glasses" will be presented in Uzhgorod. It’s goal, according to the organizers, is to promote treatment without suffering.

On Wednesday, April 4, at 10:00, in the conference hall of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration at Narodna Square, 4, 2nd floor, there will be the presentation of the information campaign "Take off the rose-tinted glasses". The campaign aims to explain patients and doctors that pain relief is the right of everyone.

During the event, they will discuss the situation with access to pain relief and make recommendations for improving the system of providing pain-killers and palliative care.

Participants: Olena Koval, Anesthetist Consultant of the International "Renaissance" Foundation; Lyudmyla Andriyshyn, expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on "Palliative care", the head of the advisory department of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Center for Palliative Care; Yuriy Lazarevich, the chairman of the Board of the Charity Foundation "Network of 100 percent of life Rivne"; Tetyana Kozak, the head of Uzhgorod Regional Branch of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care"; Hanna Kotenko, Project Manager of the "Raising the Role of Civil Society in the Provision of Rights to Children Who Need Palliative Care".

Representatives of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, management of the Department of Health of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, chief doctors and heads of social institutions are invited to participate in the event.
