On March 6, at 16.00, a personal exhibition of paintings by Raisa Gluck, wife of the famous Transcarpathian artist Gavrilo Gluck, will open in the exhibition hall of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life.
The exhibition will feature about 40 works by the artist. According to the founder of the Gavrilo Gluck Charitable Foundation, Yosyp Homoki, the exhibition mainly features the artist’s works from various periods, starting from 1965 and up to 1995. Raisa Gluck did not have art education and started painting rather late – after she turned 50. The first person who encouraged her to work was her husband – Gavrilo Gluck. He was also her mentor.
The bulk of R. Gluck’s work is still lifes.
