Consul General of Hungary: “Neither Ukrainian nor Hungarian party needs provocations!”

The Consul General of Hungary in Uzhgorod Jozsef Bugaylo commented on the provocation in Uzhgorod:

– We were really stunned by what we saw.  Apparently, it was a serious explosive device that caused such damage all over the place. I hope that the competent authorities will act promptly and professionally, like the last time.

There is some information, that I do not want to disclose for obvious reasons yet, but I hope that there will be more information in the evening. I told all this to the Minister. The official parties assured, and we also agree with this, that neither the Ukrainian nor the Hungarian side is interested in any provocations towards the national minorities.

Law enforcement agencies are responding adequately, I talked to regional leaders and law enforcement agencies. By the evening, there should be more information: an official investigation has begun, the investigating team is working at the scene – promptly, professionally. I hope that they will find the perpetrators in this brazen provocation very soon.
