Police detained three drunk drivers, one of whom caused an accident resulting in damages to four cars

During the past day, cases of driving in the state of intoxication were documented by police officers in Tyachiv and Uzhgorod districts.

In the village of Mynai of Uzhgorod district, on Sunday, there was an accident involving four cars. A local resident, driving a car "Volkswagen Passat", failed to slow down on time and hit a car "Mazda", the driver of which had slowed down, because the car ahead of him was making a turn. As a result of the collision, four cars were damaged: the "Volkswagen Passat", the "Mazda" and two cars "Skoda Superb". The damages to the cars were insignificant, but when the patrol police response team of Uzhgorod department arrived at the scene, they found out that the driver responsible for the accident was intoxicated. Drager found 1.02 ppm of alcohol in the "Volkswagen Passat" driver’s blood. Appropriate reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against the offender for driving in the state of intoxication, which resulted in an accident. Two drunk drivers were detained by Tyachiv police. In the village of Solotvyno at night, officers of the patrol police response team noticed a car "BMW", which was moving with the lights off. The driver was stopped, he was a resident of the village of Nyzhnya Apsha in the state of alcohol intoxication. The driver refused to undergo medical examination, and the policemen in the presence of witnesses drew up the appropriate report of administrative offense and seized the driver’s license.

In the village of Vilkhivchyk in Tyachiv district, in the evening, officers of the patrol police response team noticed a "VAZ-21010" with the tail lights off. The car was stopped, it was driven by a drunk local resident. The driver was taken to the district hospital, where 1.4 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood. Appropriate report of administrative offense was drawn up against the offender for driving in the state of intoxication, his driver’s license was seized.
