Vynogradiv can get a grant for the establishment of the Center for Homeless Animal Control

The problem of homeless animals in Vinogradov really exists, but the city council is working on this issue in the legal field – according to the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Animals from Cruel Treatment".

The Vynogradov City Council, together with MU "Investment and Development Center", continues to work on the establishment of the Center for Homeless Animal Control (participation in the grant project under the Trans-border Cooperation Program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020).  The preparation of this project has been going on since December 2016, and involves several stages with a clear observance of all procedural moments – that is why it is a long-term one.

Together with the MU "Investment and Development Center", as well as the Polish animal protection organization in the city of Rzeszow (Poland), they have developed a darft grant application for funding for the establishment of cross-border stray animals control centers. The activities of this project will focus on the construction and material equipment of the municipal establishment, which will include the services for catching, sterilization, and identification (chipping) of stray animals.

The city council successfully passed the consideration of grant applications and has positive decisions at all stages.

Thus, at this stage, the situation with the establishment of the Center for Homeless Animal Control in the city of Vynogradiv, on Leyzman street has come to the final stage and we expect a positive decision and victory in the grant.

In addition, the city government approved the "Program of stray animals control in Vynogradiv in 2016 – 2020".
