What will the “Uzhgorod PALACHINTA” surprise with this year?

"Uzhgorod PALACHINTA" is a gastronomic festival with a diverse cultural and entertainment program that combines Transcarpathian and Ukrainian traditions and modern trends. The name of the festival – "palachinta" (from Hungarian "palacsinta") – is a Transcarpathian dialect word for "pancake". For the first time, bench press competitions will take place during the festival. A famous cook, finalist of the project "MasterChef 7" Volodymyr Trotsky was invited as a guest of honor.

Also, the festival will have a charitable purpose. Together with the "Movement to support of Transcarpathian soldiers", they are preparing fundraisers for the needs of the Army and other charitable events.

The festival program includes:
* Concert program, funny entertainments and contests for adults and children;
* Prizes for daredevils who will climb a pole
* Traditional Transcarpathian dishes, tasting of drinks, wine, honey, pancakes, etc.;
* Competition for the most delicious pancakes, awarding of winners;
* Master class from a participant of the project "MasterChef 7" Volodymyr Trotsky;
* The first winter open bench press championship "Iron Palachinta";
* Themed photo-zones;
* Win-win lottery;
* Fire show, burning of the stuffed winter "Mara";
* Charity events – fundraising for soldiers;
