On Saturday, January 13, around 23:00, Uzhgorod patrol policemen decided to stop a car Toyota for violating traffic rules at the intersection of Svobody Avenue and Lev Tolstoy Street. However, the driver decided to play games and ignored flashing lights, signals and repeated demands to stop.
The man tried to run away in his car, endangering others, and when the policemen tried to block him, he almost ran over a patrol police inspector and the police car.
The patrol policemen detained the offender on Zankovetska street, after he had crashed into a tree. He was obviously in the state of alcohol intoxication. As a result, the appropriate protocols of administrative offenses were drawn up against the fugitive driver – for driving in the state of intoxication, for failure to comply with the demands to stop and for violation of the traffic rules, which caused damage to vehicles.
