“New Year Express” will be repeated

Festive time is still going on, so, on January 17, the symphony orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic once again will invite to the "New Year Express" – a program composed of famous Christmas tunes and soundtracks to their favorite tapes.

The recent premiere of this program gathered full house in the concert hall of the Philharmonic, but not everyone was able to be there. So music lovers will be have another chance to hear Suite from the ballet "Nutcracker" by P. Tchaikovsky, "Winter" from the cycle "Four seasons" by A.Vivaldi (solo on the xylophone – Oleksandra Makarova, Mukachevo), Suite from the cartoon "Polar Express" (composer – famous Hollywood producer A. Silvestri), soundtrack from the favorite Christmas comedy "Home Alone" (music by J. Williams), etc. And the winner of the international competitions Maryana Havrylko (soprano) will perform an excerpt from the operetta "Die Fledermaus" by J. Strauss and the famous Neapolitan song "Funiculi Funicula" by L. Denz. 

So, the "New Year Express" will go off on its musical journey on January 17 at 18.30. Conductor – Honored Artist of Ukraine Victoria Svalyavchik-Tsanko. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR. The music will be accompanied by video footage!
