In Transcarpathia, tourists are warned about possible avalanches

In connection with the snowfall, a significant avalanche hazard is expected. This was informed by the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.

According to the hydrometeorological center, these days, a moderate (level II) avalanche hazard will remain in the highlands of Transcarpathian region. Due to snowfall, the significant (level III) avalanche hazard is expected.

Rescuers ask holidaymakers to refrain from hiking in the mountains until the synoptic situation improves.
