116 households in Transcarpathia are still flooded

The flooded areas are:

• 467 hectares of agricultural land;
• 116 households;
• 48 basements.

       The following personnel and means are engaged to eliminate the effects of bad weather:

– from the State Emergencies Service: personnel – 32 people, machinery – 7 units, motor pumps – 4 units.

– from the "Tisa" River Basin Water Resources Administration: personnel – 12 people, machinery – 5 units, pump stations – 1 units.

      As of 08:00, rescuers pumped out about 3300 cubic meters of water.

In total, for the whole period, units of the State Emergencies Service and the "Tisa" River Basin Water Resources Administration pumped out about 6 million 152 thousand cubic meters of water.

Irshava district

• the village of Vilkhivka – 35 hectares of agricultural land are flooded.         
• the village of Zarichchia – 70 hectares of agricultural land are flooded.
• the village of Kamyanske – 190 hectares of agricultural land are flooded.
• the village of Siltse – 10 hectares of agricultural land are flooded.

Mukachevo district

In Mukachevo district, on the Kyiv-Chop highway, the 787th km, the work for the construction of a temporary structure (sand dam) has been carried out to avoid possible overflow due to the flood wave of the Stara river near the village of Znyatsyovo. Traffic is free.

Approximately 27 hectares of agricultural land are flooded in the villages of Barkosovo, Chomonyn, Chopovets

As a result of flooding of 24 wells of the Mukachevo water intake (the town of Chynadiyevo), the work of pumping stations, which supply water to approximately 12 thousand customers, was temporarily suspended. On 19.12.2017, around 18.00, water supply to consumers of Mukachevo was resumed in full.

Vynogradiv district

• the village of V.Komyaty – about 80 hectares of agricultural land are flooded.
• the village of Nevetlenfolu – about 10 hectares of agricultural land are flooded.
• the village of Yulivtsi – about 25 hectares of agricultural land are flooded.
• the village of Veryatsya – 4  households are flooded.

Tyachiv district

• the village of Vonihovo – 110 households and 27 basements are flooded.
• the village of Uhlya – 7 basements are flooded.
• the village of Okruhla – 2 households and 4 basements are flooded.
• the village of Ruske Pole – 10 basements are flooded.

Khust district

• the village of Sokyrnytsia – 8 hectares of farmland are flooded.
• the village of Steblivka – 12 hectares of farmland are flooded.
