Policemen detained a scammer in Uzhgorod

Uzhgorod law enforcement officers found the suspect in fraudulent actions against a local resident. Investigators have opened a criminal proceeding over the unlawful acts

Officers of Uzhgorod Criminal Police Department solved another fraud crime. The criminal acts were committed against a 24-year-old resident of Uzhgorod. The man said that he had sold a phone to his acquaintance for 4000 hryvnias. However, after receiving the phone, the buyer disappeared without paying and went into hiding. 

The police found the suspect. It was a 22-year-old resident of the regional center.

Investigators of the Uzhgorod Police Department opened a criminal proceeding over the fraudulent acts under Part 1 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation continues.
