The organizer of the “private border” in Transcarpathia has been arrested

According to the Mukachevo.net, it was reported by several sources in law enforcement agencies.

According to this information, today, November 16, around 7 am, special forces in camouflage and with weapons broke into the sanatorium "Karpaty" near Mukachevo and detained one of the vacationers. It is Horvat Attila, better known by the nickname "Doki" (pictured below).

He is the organizer of the so-called "private border" in Transcarpathia along the border with Hungary, where all kind of things were smuggled – from cigarettes to drugs.

In addition, investigative activities and searches are being conducted in the smuggler’s native village – Velyka Byihan. According to preliminary information, a large amount of drugs was seized. A lot of special equipment, including helicopters, is engaged in the special operation.

According to the information, the special operation is being conducted by the military prosecutor’s office together with the border guards, but those, who recently reinforced the border due to recent increase in the flow of illegal immigrants.

It later became known that law enforcement officers also detained the former head of the State Land Register in Beregovo district and conducted searches at the employees of the state institution that could be involved in the creation of the "private border".
