The city authorities will continue to implement projects for stimulation of condominium formation. Currently, there are 42 of those in the city. At the regular session of the city council, they will consider the developed draft program "Facilitation of the formation and development of condominiums in the city of Mukachevo for 2018-2020". It is planned to allocate almost 5 million hryvnias for this program.
Most of the existing housing was built in the Soviet period of mass construction, and therefore most of these buildings do not meet the current requirements for energy conservation, comfort and the climatic situation in general. All these factors together lead to unreasonably large amounts of energy consumption in multi-apartment buildings.
The program provides for the creation of an effective mechanism for stimulating the introduction of energy saving measures in households through partial reimbursement of loans received by condominiums for implementation of energy saving measures. The funds will be used, in particular, for the modernization, reconstruction, insulation and repair of roofs, basements, all engineering networks and equipment in the houses, insulation of staircases (installation and replacement of windows, entrance doors), modernization of lighting systems, replacement and installation of main switchboards in residential buildings, insulation of facade walls.
