In Vynogradiv, large-scale work on the construction of a standard-sized football field with a modern synthetic turf at the city stadium "Plastmasovik" is under way.
At this stage, synthetic fiber turf with geotextiles is being laid. It is a product of the highest quality with unique technical characteristics – FIFA certified modern synthetic turf made in the Netherlands.
The funding of the project consists of UAH 3.5 million from the Regional Council and more than UAH 5.5 million from the local budget.
The city authorities plan to hold an auction for the sale of the remnants of the unfinished building of a sports complex with a concrete pool structure without changing the intended purpose – that is, for the construction of a pool. In addition, there are plans to invest in the construction of tennis courts. Also, in cooperation with Polish partners, the city participates in the "Cross-Border Cooperation Program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020", which provides for the establishment of a rehabilitation and sports center.
So, Vynogradiv stadium "Plastmasovik" has all the chances to eventually become the best sports and recreational complex in Transcarpathian region.
