Tyachiv foresters are arranging places for recreation

At present, 16 public recreational areas have been arranged in the forests served by the Tyachiv State Forestry Enterprise.

Most places for recreation are arranged near roads and near water. The foresters fit recreation areas with gazebos, benches and tables, places for fire and garbage disposal, sanitary zones.

Previously, before the arrangement of recreation places, employees of the Tyachiv State Forestry Enterprise conducted an analysis of areas of mass recreation in the forests. It showed that the number of visitors in the recreation areas in the evening, weekends and holidays ranges from 50 to 200 people per day.

Therefore, the director of the forestry enterprise Natalia Ivanivna is confident that new recreation areas will attract a steady flow of tourists from all over Transcarpathia and Ukraine, which will stimulate the development of green tourism. After all, such practice is common in the countries of Western Europe – Austria, Slovenia, Germany and even in the country of the morning sun – Japan.
